DV8 Kitchen to host “Coffee with a Cop” event

LEXINGTON, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lexington Police Department is brewing up a chance to connect with the community! Officers are inviting everyone to DV8 Kitchen – East End for Coffee with a Cop on November 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The event gives community members the opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and get to know the officers who serve their neighborhoods — all in a relaxed, friendly setting over a cup of coffee.

Organizers say Coffee with a Cop helps strengthen relationships between law enforcement and residents by encouraging open conversation and understanding outside of emergency situations.
