Tractor-trailer hanging off overpass dumps coal on I-64
WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A stretch of eastbound I-64 in Clark County was closed overnight when a semi crashed and ended up hanging off an overpass, spilling coal on the interstate, according to the state.
Eastbound I-64 was closed between Exit 96 and the Mountain Parkway Exit at mile marker 98, according to the state.
This was reported around 12:25 a.m. Wednesday.
The section of interstate was expected to be closed at least four-hours or longer.
