Drug trafficking charges for Detroit man
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Richmond police say an undercover investigation led to filing charges against a Detroit man for drug trafficking.
According to officers, Kevin A. Johnson sold heroin to an undercover narcotics officer on two separate occasions. Johnson was charged on Monday at the Madison Co. Detention Center where he was already incarcerated. Back on April 8, police stopped 35-year-old Larry A. Smith for a traffic violation, while Johnson was riding with him. Officers say during the course of the traffic stop, they found seven packets of heroin in the vehicle.
Both men have been charged with drug trafficking.
