Drug roundup in Scott County
GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A four-month investigation by Georgetown Police and the Scott County Sheriff’s Office resulted in arrest warrants/citations for 40-people accused of trafficking drugs, according to Georgetown Police.
Narcotic detectives say the suspects were charged with various crimes, including trafficking cocaine, crack cocaine, crystal-methamphetamine, heroin and opiate prescription pills. On its Facebook page, Georgetown Police thanked Kentucky State Police and deputies at the Scott County Detention Center for their roles in the drug crackdown operation.
