Drug Dealer Pleads Guilty To Selling Heroin That Resulted In Death

Following the first day of trial in federal court in London, a Pulaski County man pled guilty to conspiring to distribute heroin and to distributing heroin that resulted in the death of another, according to prosecutors.

Anthony Lacortiglia, 29, admitted he provided heroin to John Latham on May 4, 2012, and that Latham died as a result of using the heroin, according to prosecutors.

Lacortiglia also admitted to conspiring with others to distribute heroin within Pulaski County, according to prosecutors.

The terms of the agreement require Lacortiglia to be imprisoned for 240-months, provided no changes occur with respect to the law surrounding overdose deaths, according to prosecutors.
