UPDATE: Guns, drugs found in home of two people arrested at Laurel Co. hotel

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ)-Manchester Police says a search warrant was executed on the home of the two people arrested at the Baymont Inn in Laurel County, where police found 1.5 pounds of meth.

Police say that at the home of Floyd Begley and Linda Sizemore, more than 80 guns, 11 ounces of meth, and thousands of rounds of ammunition were found during the search. They say five of the guns are believed to be stolen.

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – London police say they arrested two individuals in a drug bust Monday, along with 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine.

Police say they received a tip about drug activity at the Baymont Inn on Ky. 192. Officers seized $10,000, an estimated value of $18,000 in meth and two guns.

Police arrested 42-year-old Linda Sizemore, of Manchester, and 41-year-old Floyd Begley, of Hyden after a search of the hotel.

Both are charged with two counts of first-degree drug trafficking, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, marijuana possession and possessing drug paraphernalia.

A child staying in the hotel at the time of the search was removed by Social Services.
