Drivers dodge propane tanks on Paris Pike in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- If you were on Paris Pike in Lexington Tuesday night, you were dealing with more than just traffic.

Drivers were dodging propane tanks that had fallen out of a delivery truck. The fire department says a witness saw the truck turn from Old Paris Road onto Paris Pike. A side door was reportedly open. Firefighters say several crates of cylinders had fallen out of the truck.

Investigators say the driver likely didn’t know it had happened and kept going. The tanks did not leak. The fire department gathered them, and began a search for the truck driver.
