Driver Killed In Rowan County Crash

State troopers in Morehead said an SUV flipped several times in an accident Sunday morning that killed the driver.

Troopers said Eric Gallagher was driving eastbound on KY32 which is Christy Creek Road in Rowan County. Troopers said Gallagher didn’t make a curve due to high speed and his SUV lost control.

Gallagher was ejected from the vehicle and died, said troopers.

There were two passengers in the SUV, according to troopers. They were treated for non-life threatening injuries. Those passengers were charged with public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

The accident remains under investigation.
