Driver killed after hitting horse in Bourbon County
PARIS, Ky. (WTVQ) – A driver was killed after State Police say he hit a horse on a road in Paris.
That accident happened at around 2:50 a.m. Friday on Lexington Road.
Troopers say two horses broke through a fence and escaped from a nearby farm.
The 80-year-old driver Donald Ray Smith hit one of those horses, killing it, according to officials.
Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
