Driver Hits Pedestrian in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A man had to take a trip to the hospital Sunday night after a car hit him on New Circle Road, according to police.

Officers say the crash happened before 8 p.m. near the 200 block of New Circle Road.

They say the man walked into the road and the car hit him.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they do not expect any charges to be filed.
