Driver dies after “diabetic incident” crash in Boyle County
BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — A driver has died after a collision involving a flatbed semi-truck in Danville on Monday afternoon.
According to the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred just before 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Danville Bypass and Lebanon Road. Investigators say the driver experienced a diabetic medical emergency, causing them to drive through several red traffic lights before colliding with the back of the truck.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the driver. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
