Driver dies after crash with semi on U.S. 25E in Knox County

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A 93-year-old man has died following a weekend crash involving a semi-truck in Knox County, according to Kentucky State Police.

Troopers say the crash happened Saturday on U.S. 25E in the Gray community. Investigators say Crit Moses collided with a semi-truck that had stopped in the median while attempting to merge into the northbound lane. State police say part of the truck was blocking the southbound lane at the time of the crash.

According to KSP, Moses was taken to UK Hospital in critical condition following the collision. Troopers confirmed Sunday that he later died from his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
