Driver Charged In Lexington Wreck

A driver involved in a two-car crash in Lexington was charged on Monday.
The wreck happened on Winchester Road and Owens Street at around 8:45 p.m. Sunday.
Lexington police said a Buick was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver, Billy Raines, lost control and crossed the center line.
His car was hit by a Chrysler coming the other way.
Police said that sent the Buick into a building, where it flipped and landed in its roof.
Raines and a passenger, along with two other people in the Chrysler, were injured.
Raines was released from the hospital Monday.
Police then arrested and charged him with driving under the influence, assault and wanton endangerment.
