Driver accused of being on Serenity with children in car

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a driver went on a bad Serenity trip with kids in the car.

Officers pulled over 38-year-old Demond Briscoe after someone complained a driver was asleep at the wheel on Broadway near Sixth Street.

According to court documents, officers say Briscoe appeared disoriented and had what looked like Serenity in his pants pocket.

Documents say there were also two children, both four-years-old, in the car with him.

Briscoe is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor
