Dozens of people rescued from flooding
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Law enforcement in several counties had to rescue people from high water this weekend.
That included a rescue in Taylor County. The Campbellsville/Taylor County Fire Department says crews rescued a driver that crossed flooded roadways on Salem Church Road.
The Manchester Police Department says it responded Saturday around 9:45 p.m. to Chop Bottom Road where a car was stuck in flood water.
Officers say when they arrived they saw a car partially under water with the people inside yelling for help.
The officers waded into the water with a trooper and sheriff’s deputy.
They pulled three people from the car. No one was hurt.
