Downtown shooting suspect back in court

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — The man accused in a downtown Lexington shooting is back before a judge.

Police say 29-year-old Jonathan Streete appeared in court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing connected to an August 29 shooting on West Short Street. Officers say a man was found at the scene with a gunshot wound and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Streete faces multiple charges, including first-degree assault and five counts of wanton endangerment.
