Downed trees shut down road in Corbin as winter weather continues
CORBIN, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Winter weather caused several trees to fall in Corbin on Sunday, forcing the closure of part of a city street.
According to the Corbin Fire Department, Fourth Street at Cloverbrook has been shut down after multiple trees came down near the split between Fourth and Fifth streets.
Officials are urging drivers to avoid the area if possible and use extra caution while crews work to clear the roadway.
No injuries have been reported, and it’s not yet clear when the street will reopen.
