Don’t touch the hot stove!

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Yet again, EKU got off on the wrong foot in the 41-14 loss at Ball State.  2 turnovers and nine penalties in the first half put the Colonels in  a 27-point hole.

There were some positive takeaways from the trip to Muncie, but the penalties department was not one of those positives.

Eastern has rectified that problem.  At least that’s the hope.

With some extra sweating in practice, head coach Mark Elder is hammering home the message of clean football.

Penalties in games mean punishment in practice.

Hear from Elder in the video on his strategy.
