Donated teddy bears delivered to sheriff’s office

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is thanking the community for donating a large number of teddy bears to help children.

Martin’s Insurance Group collected the stuffed animals and sponsored ‘The Teddy Bear Project.”  The bears were delivered to the sheriff’s office earlier today. Deputies will carry them in their patrol cars to help comfort children who are involved  in car accidents, domestic disturbances and traumatic situations.
