Dog in town for competition goes missing

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It’s a different kind of competitor who needs help in Lexington.

A dog in town for a show ran away from her hotel Thursday night around 10 p.m.

A Missouri woman says her whippet left the Red Roof Inn on Wilhite Drive near Gattitown on New Circle Road.

The dog, Lucy, was reportedly last seen at the Honda dealership across the road.

Lucy is a whippet, about 30 pounds, and her owner says she can be skittish.
