Dog shot with blow dart in Lexington neighborhood

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A dog is recovering after being shot with a blow dart in Lexington.

Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control says the dog, named Champ, was hit with the blow dart on Monday in the Masterson Station neighborhood.

The dog’s owner says Champ is recovering well after surgery.

Animal control officers are still looking for whoever is responsible.
