Document shredding investigation “still open and pending”

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An update from the Courier-Journal calls the investigation into document shredding by a former state official, "still open and pending."

In the report, Kentucky State Police say the investigation into Legislative Research Commission Director Robert Sherman is still active; nearly a year after the shredding allegedly took place.

According to the Courier-Journal, those documents were thought to be related to sexual harassment accusations made by staff members against former Kentucky State Representative John Arnold.

The initial investigation was said to be over in may with no wrongdoing found.
