Diva’s employee robbed at knifepoint

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Terrifying moments for an employee at a Lexington night club Monday.

Police say the Diva’s Gentlemen’s Night Club employee went out for a smoke break at around 2 a.m. and as she headed back in, she says a man followed her inside.

She says he pulled a knife and demanded money from her cash register.

Investigators say after getting some cash, the suspect took off.

A K9 unit tracked him near an apartment complex on Ball Park Drive but lost the track.

Investigators say they are reviewing the club’s surveillance video.
