Disaster centers closed for July Fourth

FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – All Disaster Recovery Centers aiding Kentuckians impacted by the April 2 severe weather will close at 7 p.m. EST on Wednesday, July 3, for Independence Day.

They will reopen at 10 a.m. EST on Friday, July 5.

Current Disaster Recovery Centers:

  • Boyd County: Boyd County Emergency Management Office, 12327 Anthony Drive, Ashland, KY 41102
  • Carter County: Members Choice Credit Union, 438 Interstate Drive, Grayson, KY 41143
  • Fayette County: Emergency Operations Center, 115 Cisco Road, Lexington, KY 40504
  • Greenup County: Greenup County Courthouse, 301 Main St., Greenup, KY 41114
  • Henry County: 4H Community Center, 1106 Castle Highway, Eminence, KY 40019

Centers are open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and closed on Sunday.

Residents in affected counties can apply for FEMA assistance at these centers, online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 800-621-3362, or via the FEMA mobile app.
