UPDATE 4: Pedro Torices has been arrested after a man hunt. He is being held at Three Forks Regional Jail.
UPDATE 3: KSP identifies the shooting suspect as Pedro Torices.
In a release, KSP said “Through the investigation, investigators determined that Pedro Torices fired a weapon striking an unknown individual. Pedro Torices had left the scene prior to law enforcement arriving. Mr. Torices is approximately 6 feet tall, 175 pounds with brown eyes. He is believed to be operating a newer model four door chevy pickup with an unknown KY temporary tag. If you have any information or observe Pedro Torices, please call the Kentucky State Police Morehead at 606-784-4127 or your local law enforcement agency.”
UPDATE 2: The Wolfe County Schools Superintendent says buses are lined up to pickup students at schools. After buses leave, parents will be able to pick up their children.
UPDATE: According to the Wolfe County Board of Education, “Bus evacuations are canceled for this evening. We will release more information on bus routes as it becomes available.”

WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Several schools are on lockdown as Kentucky State Police search for a suspect, accused of a shooting in the area.
KSP confirmed to ABC36 News there is a manhunt underway, after the shooting happened at a residence in the Bethany area of Wolfe County.
Troopers say the suspect took off in a white pickup truck.
As a precautionary measure, schools were placed on lockdown as the investigation continues.
The Wolfe County Board of Education posted to its Facebook page that schools there were on a “hard lockdown” while troopers search for the suspect.
Other area schools also were placed on lockdown.
