UPDATE: Man shot, Charged with Assault on Kildare Ct.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say the Kildare Court shooting that occurred this morning was the aftermath of a domestic violence dispute.
William J. Redd was found shot in the front yard, Officers say he has been charged with 4th degree Assault – Domestic Violence, and with violating a Domestic Violence Order.
Investigators currently believe it was his former girlfriend who shot the man in self-defense.

Lexington police say a man who was shot on Kildare Court and sent to the hospital has charges pending against him.
According to officers, the shooting was an isolated incident involving domestic violence.
Police say the man who was injured had an active domestic violence order against him.
The man remains at the hospital.
The investigation continues.

Lexington Police are on the scene of a shooting at a home on Kildare Ct.
Officers say they were called to the home around 7:00 a.m.
Police say when they arrived, they found a man shot in the front yard.
The man was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The shooting is still under investigation.
