Clays Mill Road Reopens After Wreck Involving Teen Pedestrian

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say that Clays Mill Road at Blue Ash Drive has reopened after a serious collision involving a 15-year old boy.

Officers say they were called to the scene around 8:15 a.m.

According to police the boy was trying to cross the street and looked one way, but not the other before dashing into traffic and being hit.

He was taken to UK Medical Center in stable condition.

A reconstruction unit went to the scene to continue an investigation into the collision.
