LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Louisville native Dale Romans is the all-time leading trainer at Churchill Downs; the one win he’d love most, the Kentucky Derby, has escaped him to date.

He’s had some close calls and some great wins in his career; the 2015 Travers Stakes upset by Keen Ice of American Pharoah no doubt one of them.
