UPDATE: Missing child in Laurel County found safe

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says 12-year-old Jesse J. Johnson has been found safe.

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says it is searching for a missing boy.

Sheriff John Root says 12-year-old Jesse J. Johnson was last seen around 7:30 p.m. Sunday walking with his stepsister on Brelance Drive in the Keavy area.

Johnson is 5’5″, around 160 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a red South Laurel t-shirt with black pajama pants.
