Deputies: Man facing murder charge arrested, caught fleeing scene of burglary

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Somerset man wanted on a murder charge in Russell County is in custody in Pulaski County after deputies there say he ran from the scene of a burglary.

Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a report of a burglary in progress around 12:42 Monday and spotted 40-year-old Billy Wilson running away. He was arrested.

Deputies say Wilson is wanted on a murder charge in Russell County for a fatal crash in 2019. They say he was initially charged with driving under the influence, but it was upgraded to murder after a grand jury indictment.
