Deputies to deliver donated holiday baskets in Laurel County

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Laurel County organization, Children Are Really Special (C.A.R.S), donated twenty holiday baskets to be distributed by Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies to deserving families.

The organization teams-up with the sheriff’s office each year for this community project.  “We are blessed to have such caring persons in our area,” said Sheriff John Root.

He added, it was a privilege for his office to deliver the holiday baskets to area families across Laurel County.
