Deputies: Burglar broke into animal clinic, fought with employee

MIDWAY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Deputies say a burglar broke into a veterinary office in Woodford County, then fought with an employee. The sheriff’s office says it happened around 8:45 Tuesday night at Midway Small Animal Clinic on Midway Road.

Investigators believe it’s the third time this month the suspect has broken into the business. They say cash, narcotics, cat insulin and cat food were stolen during previous burglaries. Deputies say the suspect didn’t get anything Tuesday night before he ran off.

The sheriff’s office says the man is 5-feet-8, and weighs 150 to 160 pounds. It says he was wearing a hoodie and blue jeans with athletic shoes, and had a shirt covering his face.
