Department of Justice: Parents Can Better Monitor Kids’ Social Media
Officials at the Department of justice say if parents knew how prevalent sexual predators were online, those numbers would be much higher.
Andrew Oliver with the Lexington Children’s Advocacy Center says parents can start by keeping computers out of kids rooms and in common rooms. He also says parents should know their kids passwords and usernames, but most importantly, communicate with their kids about the dangers of online sexual predators.
