Denzel Aberdeen announces return to Florida
GAINESVILLE, Fl. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Denzel Aberdeen is headed back to the Sunshine State.
After one season with the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball, Aberdeen announced Friday that he is transferring to the Florida Gators men’s basketball.
However, Aberdeen is still awaiting approval of his NCAA waiver request.
Aberdeen posted on social media: “I’m excited to announce that I’m planning to re-enroll at the University of Florida to finish my undergraduate degree. Thankful for the opportunity to finish my academic journey back home at the place where it started. Go Gators!”
