Defensive effort at all-time premium

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Matthew Mitchell is known for having hard-nosed, defensive teams.

40 minutes of pressure has been the mantra for Mitchell and company since coach’s arrival in Lexington.

The focus this year will be to become a better shooting team, but that doesn’t mean coach is losing sight of making sure he brings in tenacious defenders.

In fact, good defenders are at even more of a premium these days for Mitchell.
