Death investigation underway after woman’s body found in home

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A death investigation is underway in Elizabethtown after a woman was found dead overnight in a home on Joan Avenue, according to police.

Investigators say they were called to the home around 2:00 a.m. and found the woman dead.

Her name wasn’t immediately released.  The investigation into her death continues.
