Death investigation underway in Rowan County

ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police say they are investigating the death of  48-year-old man from Maryland.

KSP says it was called to the I-64 Westbound Rest Area in Rowan County about a man slumped over the steering wheel of a car.

The Rowan County coroner pronounced the man dead just before 5 p.m. Sunday.

The  body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

The victim’s name has not yet been released.
