Death investigation underway in Martin Co.

LOVELY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Kentucky State Police have opened a death investigation involving a solid waste employee.

State Police determined the solid waste worker was thought to have fallen off the back of the truck he was riding on and into the road around 9 a.m. Thursday.

The Martin County deputy coroner pronounced 45-year-old David Robinson dead at the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday November 30, 2018.
