Death investigation after house fire in Pike County

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Investigators hope an autopsy will provide clues into the death of a man who was found in a house that caught fire in Pike County.

State Police say the call came in Tuesday around 3:00 p.m. of a house fire on Scotts Bottom Road with someone possible inside the house.

The man, who hasn’t been identified yet, was found after the fire was extinguished.

Investigators say they don’t suspect foul play.
