Deadly crash stops traffic on I-75 in Laurel County

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Deputies say an empty tanker crashed on the interstate, stopping traffic for a while Saturday afternoon.

The tanker, according to deputies left the roadway and hit a sign before hitting a tree. They say the driver, 40-year-old Stanley Young of Booneville, passed away at the scene. The crash is still under investigation by the Laurel County sheriff. All lanes of traffic are now open.
