Dazia Lawrence signs with pro team in Kosovo
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Another cat is going pro. Former Kentucky guard Dazia Lawrence has officially signed with KBF Peja 03, a professional team based in Peja, Kosovo, the club announced Thursday.
In her one season at Kentucky, Lawrence averaged 12.9 points per game, shooting an impressive 46.2% from the floor and 39% from three-point range.
She’ll be reuniting with fellow former wildcat Eniya Russell, who also signed with the Kosovo-based squad earlier this week.
