Dayton transfer Koby Brea commits to Kentucky men’s basketball
Brea is considered the best shooter in the nation
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Dayton transfer Koby Brea is a Kentucky Wildcat according to ESPN. Brea picked Kentucky over Duke, North Carolina, Kansas and UConn.
The newest Wildcat is considered to be the best three-point shooter in the country and made 100 threes this past season. Brea should be comfortable in Head Coach Mark Pope’s offense, which historically shoots plenty of deep shots. Pope’s BYU team was the third best team in three-pointers attempted last season.
Brea is the Atlantic 10 Sixth Man of the Year and comes to Kentucky as a senior. He is the sixth player to commit to Kentucky out of the transfer portal in the past few weeks.
