Daycare Worker Accused Of Abuse

A Lexington daycare worker has been charged with second degree criminal abuse.

According to court documents, Shirley Martinez, 58, was caught on surveillance cruelly punishing a one-year-old at her daycare job on Friday.

Documents did not specify what the punishment was.

Martinez will be arraigned in court Tuesday.
