Danville Police make stolen vehicle arrest during traffic stop

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Danville Police make a stolen vehicle arrest while conducting an early morning traffic stop.

Just before 4 a.m. Friday, a police officer observed a Lincoln Navigator with Tennessee plates traveling on Hustonville Road.

After checking the vehicle’s registration, the officer confirmed the vehicle was reported stolen in Lincoln County.

The officer conducted a traffic stop.

The driver, 24-year-old Lacy Loveday, was taken into custody without incident.

Loveday was charged with Receiving Stolen Property Under $10,000 and taken to the Boyle County Detention Center.

The vehicle was later returned to the owner.
