Danville man accused of punching, slapping child

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police accuse a Danville man of beating a child in his care.

Court documents say 30-year-old Bradley Moore was watching the 5-year-old child while the child’s mother went to work overnight on September 2nd.

She says when she returned home, the child was alone and had bruises and swollen eyes.

Documents say Moore punched the child in the face several times with a closed fist, slapped his buttocks, causing severe bruising, and pulled his hair. There was also a large knot on the back of the child’s head, along with scratches on his neck and legs.

Moore is charged with criminal abuse.
