Cyclists Ride Through Central KY For Disabled People

A two wheeled crew hopes its efforts make a difference in the lives of those with disabilities.

‘See people’s abilities, not their disabilities’ is the motto for the Journey of Hope. The group, organized by Push America is cycling to raise funds and awareness on behalf of people with disabilities.

75 miles per day is the goal and each cyclist commits to raising at least $5,500. A stop for dinner with Community Alternatives Kentucky allowed ABC 36 News to catch up with the cyclists.

When all is said and done, the 2014 group hopes to have raised more than half a million dollars for people with disabilities
