Cyclist killed after hit and run in Pike County

MILLARD, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – A cyclist was killed on Wednesday, June 12, in Pike County after being hit by a car.
Kentucky State Police say that at approximately 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, officers were notified of a two-vehicle crash on US 460 in the Millard community of Pike County.
After arriving at the scene, troopers found that Clinton Justice was driving a 2013 Ford Edge when he struck Eric Justice while he was riding his bike.
Eric Justice was pronounced dead on the scene by the Pike County Coroner’s Office.
According to the KSP, Clinton Justice ran away from the scene but was found and arrested. He is being held in the Pike County Detention Center on the charges of leaving the scene of an accident, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, and vehicular homicide when under the influence.
