Cynthiana man killed in cycle crash with SUV

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 51-year-old Cynthiana man is dead after a crash Tuesday night in Georgetown.

Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn identified the victim as Bradford Short, of Cynthiana. He died at about 10:40 p.m. at UK Medical Center where he’d been taken after the motorcycle he was driving crashed into an SUV that apparently turned in front of him.

According to Georgetown Police, the accident happened around 10 p.m. in front of the Walmart on Cherry Blossom Way.

A woman who was riding with Short is in critical condition.

Police say the SUV driver was not hurt and the accident is under investigation.
