CVS completes acquisition of Rite Aid assets, expands pharmacy services
(ABC36 NEWS NOW) – CVS Pharmacy has completed its nationwide acquisition of select Rite Aid assets, taking over 63 former Rite Aid and Bartell Drugs stores in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
The company also acquired prescription records from more than 600 former Rite Aid and Bartell Drugs pharmacies across 15 states. This expansion allows CVS to serve more than nine million former patients from the two chains.
