Cumberland Co. man charged with murder

BURKESVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say 60-year-old Daniel A. Blair was arrested early Thursday morning, accused of murder and tampering with physical evidence.

Troopers say they received a call just before 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, reporting that a man’s body had been found in a vehicle near Veterans Alley in Burkesville.  When investigators arrived, they say they found the body of 38-year-old Michael Taylor with a gunshot wound.  Police say they discovered that Taylor had been a passenger in Blair’s vehicle earlier in the evening.

Blair was arrested at about 3:20 a.m. Thursday morning and taken to the Adair County Jail.

An autopsy on Taylor is scheduled for Thursday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
